Terms of Use

When you sign up or post on PetConnect, you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years old or have permission from a parent or guardian.
• The information you provide is accurate, complete and kept up to date.
• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

You are solely responsible for the listings, messages, photos and reviews you publish. You must:

• Only post content you own or are authorised to share.
• Provide truthful information about the pet, breed, health, age and price.
• Comply with all UAE laws regarding animals, trade, advertising and consumer protection.
• Avoid spam, duplicate listings, misleading descriptions or off-platform redirects.

• Trading endangered, exotic or protected species not permitted under UAE law.
• Harassing, threatening or defrauding other users.
• Attempting to bypass platform safeguards, scrape data or interfere with service security.
• Posting illegal, hateful, sexually explicit or otherwise harmful content.

PetConnect is a classified platform. We connect buyers, adopters and sellers but we do not handle payments, deliveries, or in-person meetings.

• Always meet sellers in safe, public locations and verify the animal in person.
• Request veterinary records, vaccination cards and any relevant documentation before paying.
• PetConnect is not a party to and is not liable for any transaction between users.

To keep the community safe and trustworthy, PetConnect may, at its sole discretion:

• Review, edit, hide or remove any listing or message.
• Suspend or permanently ban accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.
• Cooperate with law enforcement and regulatory authorities when required.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of the page. Continuing to use PetConnect after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
