Listing Policy

• Use clear, recent and original photos of the actual pet you are listing.
• Provide accurate information on age, breed, gender, vaccinations and health status.
• Set a fair price in AED and clearly mention if the listing is for adoption or rescue.

• At least one clear photo of the pet is required. Stock or stolen photos are not allowed.
• Descriptions must include the pet's personality, behavior, vaccination status and any known medical conditions.
• Avoid all-caps text, misleading titles, contact details inside images or other spammy formatting.

• Only list pets that are healthy, properly cared for and old enough to be rehomed.
• Puppies and kittens must be at least 8 weeks old before being separated from their mother.
• Disclose any disability, behavioral issue or medical condition the new owner needs to know about.

• Endangered, protected or restricted species under UAE law.
• Illegally imported animals or pets without proper documentation.
• Cross-breeding for cosmetic features that harm the animal's health.
• Listings that promise free pets in exchange for shipping or other hidden fees.

• Meet in a safe, public location and bring a friend whenever possible.
• Inspect the pet, its environment and all paperwork in person before paying.
• Never wire money in advance or send payment to someone you have not met.

PetConnect reviews listings before they go live and continues to monitor activity afterwards. We may remove any listing at any time, with or without notice, if we believe it violates this policy or applicable UAE law.
